I support Hallmark’s decisions to be racially and sexually diverse. I don’t watch many shows on the regular netwoks, but I do enjoy the Hallmark channels, for complete escapism from the craziness of our world. I think it’s great if Hallmark is trying to be more diverse and inclusive. I support that, but if most of my favorite Hallmark actors are leaving the network I will no longer be tuning in. Steines, 54, made his first post-Hallmark TV appearance as a guest co-anchor on an episode of “Extra,” last week.

The biggest liars I know call themselves christians. I mean you all love Donald Trump and he is as evil as anyone ever born in this country perin this country. You don’t think there’s anything wrong with worshipping and Orange God instead of Jesus Christ? I talked to Jesus about you people all the time and He actually hates you more than I do. PLEASE DON’T MESS UP THE HALLMARK CHANNELS. Love them and have my tv on the channels all day everyday. Having the same series on now all the time is awful.

You are not a station I can trust for family viewing. I never had to worry about my family watching but boy have things changed, you will lose your station and I have lost mine. I do not like the new way the movies are moving. I’m also tired of the Golden Girls… come on… So sad that the executives of Hallmark are ruining the channel. Put the Hallmark Channel back the way it was-the way it should be-with family movies and entertainment. Maybe some of us just wanted something besides the LGBTQ to watch.

There’s always an idiot at the head of a network that thinks that people will just like what they’re doing after awhile they just have to wait it out . Well guess what who ever you are,not going to happen! You not only pissed off the good people you have and had working for you you have also pissed off all of your views. I am very disappointed with The Hallmark Channel.

There is no hatred or fear of LGBT, but there is reverence for God. We are inspired when God’s values are uplifted. Hallmark has abandoned these values and we shouldn’t be persecuted for trying to persuade Hallmark to return to them. Please try to exercise the type of understanding and restraint you would appreciate from us. It is evident in this culture that everyone’s opinion is valid except for those of the conservative Christian.

Offering the younger generation's perspective, Matenopoulos helped make the program a tremendous success and pop culture phenomenon. Her popularity among the younger demographic led to a guest appearance as herself on “Saturday Night Live” in a parody about the talk show. The show has been hit hard by the pandemic, which caused a production halt beginning in March of 2020.

In March,Variety reported that “Home & Family” was going to be canceled. In his post, he didn’t hint at more things to come like he did in his Instagram story, however. On October 5, Matenopoulos shared an Instagram story that hinted at a lot more happening beyond the Christmas special. "Hallmark Channel's Daytime Emmy-Nominated Lifestyle Series "Home & Family" Returns for Eighth Season as the Ultimate How-to Program". Matenopopulos is currently developing two food shows and a lifestyle show, a spokesperson told Deadline.

She is the person behind the current programming. Ferrare joined as Steines’ co-host six years ago, after his original partner, Paige Davis, decided to leave. A few years later, Hallmark decided to go in a different direction and let Ferrare go, without giving much of an explanation to viewers or giving her a chance to say goodbye.

Jen Lilley is starring in a GAC Family movie called “Royally Wrapped for Christmas,” according to her social media posts. Mathison also shared his own post about the Christmas special. Home & Family was revived in 2012 on the Hallmark Channel, unique with the daily guest star being asked to remain for the entire episode, providing a broader view of the star's personality and interests. Originally among the family were Jamie Gwen , Candace Garvey , Mayita Dinos , Bob Golic, and The Carey Brothers . In April, it was announced that Mathison would be joining “General Hospital.” Deadline reportedthat his role would begin after “Home & Family”ended in August.

I’ve paid extra for Hallmark but not any more. Thank you for expressing all I have been holding in. Perhaps fans should have become more suspicious when Hallmark’s Home & Family was canceled right after Jesse left. After Zooming it in during Covid, the restrictions were lifted and Debbie Matenopoulos and Cameron Mathison were headed back to the iconic house to film Season 9. Viewers were shocked, as this was the perfect vehicle to advertise and deep dive into the network’s original programs. At the very end of March, Jesse Metcalfe left his Hallmark show, Chesapeake Shores.

Could’ve done without some of the added cast members and thought the children of Cassie & Jake, Jake’s kids, and Sam’s son, should’ve been there in the last episode. And been disappointed at all the sitcom reruns and lack of airing great more older and newer Hallmark movies. Now, I hear that the former Great American County that aired country music programming is now a family style channel and taking on movies and former H&F cast? Depending on content, I may have to go over to it more. Hallmark got caught up in trying not to be caught in the cancel culture.

I’ve been very disappointed with the many, many reruns of sitcoms. I like “Golden Girls” OK, but they are on a lot of channels. Hallmark didn’t need to air them all the time. Hallmark has so many good movies from years ago that they never air anymore, Christmas or otherwise.

Now, I’m wondering what is going to happen to Countdown to Christmas. Bring back the movies at least during the day. I do hope Hallmark will change their mind, but I don’t think so.

If we boycotted these businesses rather than just complain I believe companies would get the message. These companies have a responsibility to shareholders so if you hit them financially they will need to end this WOKE behavior and start listening to the audience. We can hit them where it hurts when we end all relations with Hallmark and other WOKE companies. In the past six weeks, Hallmark fans have been watching a revolving door at their favorite feel-good network. When it comes to Cameron Mathison, it didn’t take him long to recover from losing his Home & Family hosting job. After all, only twelve days after the final episode of Home & Family aired, Mathison joined the cast of the soap opera General Hospital and he has starred in the show ever since.
